Plain-language summary of what PES does with your data. Last updated 27 October 2026.

Stays on your device
- Your workout sessions: rep counts, rep timings, form angles, run lap times and the age you enter. They are stored in this browser (IndexedDB) and never uploaded.
- Settings and choices, such as dismissed notices, your age band and whether you agreed to AI coaching. These are kept in this browser's local storage.
- Campaign tags from the link you arrived on (utm_source, utm_medium, utm_campaign, utm_content, ref). They are kept for this browser tab only and are deleted when you close it.
Clearing your browser's site data deletes all of this. PES has no copy.
Leaves your device, and when
- Loading any page. Like every website, your browser contacts the hosts that serve PES: GitHub Pages (the site), and on some pages code libraries from cdn.tailwindcss.com, cdn.jsdelivr.net and storage.googleapis.com (the pose-detection model). They see your IP address and the page requested, as with any web request.
- Page views on the home page and the PES Pro page. Cloudflare Web Analytics (static.cloudflareinsights.com and cloudflareinsights.com) counts the visit (page, the site that linked you, country, browser and device type). Cloudflare states it collects no personal data and does not track you across other websites; it does not record the campaign tags in the link. It is never loaded on pages that show or record your workouts.
- The waitlist form, only if you open it and submit it. It is free. The form provider (Google Forms, linked from the home page and the PES Pro page) receives what you type into it: your email, the month of your next IPPT, your target award and whether you would pay the planned price. It also receives the campaign tags above and, if you came from a calculator result, your target tier and points gap; on Google Forms these appear already filled in, and you can clear them before you submit. PES itself never forwards your age or scores.
- A founding-member reservation, only if you choose to pay. Stripe handles the payment and receives your payment details. PES never sees your card number.
- Feedback, only if you use it. The feedback page opens your own email app with a message to the PES team; what you send, and your email address, reach the PES team.
- The optional AI Coach on the Sessions page. Tapping it (after you agree) sends the selected session's numbers and your age band to a PES server on Cloudflare. It is a preview right now: the server replies with example responses, not personalised coaching, and no AI provider is asked. Once AI providers are connected, the server will ask one for coaching.
Never leaves your device
- Camera video or images. Pose detection runs on your phone.
- Your location. GPS is used on your phone to count laps; coordinates are never stored or sent.
PES has no accounts and does not sell data. Questions: use the feedback page.
